Makoto has trained to be a ballet dancer since she was three years old in Japan. She came over to UK when she was 18 years old to go to Central school of ballet. She also has been studied and performed at the Hastngs Stage Studio and become highly skilled in street, jazz, modern, tap and musical theatre. She has been learning other dance styles such as hip-hop, commercial, house and basic popping/locking.
She is currently teaching several classes of children and young adult in various forms of dance in East Sussex area as a freelance, fully CRB checked teacher/instructor. She is a qualified Excercise to Music instructor (aerobics/step/pump it up).
She is also training to be a ISTD teacher of ballet, modern, jazz and tap.
